Call For Future
FCA Bank supports the first call for proposals in the social field launched by Crédit Agricole Group in Italy, inspired by Goals 4 and 10 of the UN 2030 Agenda for quality education and to reduce inequality
In 2020, FCA Bank took part in the Crédit Agricole For Future initiative, the first call for applications launched in the social field by the Crédit Agricole Group in Italy, to collect project proposals from non-profit organizations and associations on quality education and to reduce inequality.
The engagement was born out of a shared desire to meet the global challenge posed by the health emergency and rewrite the future by planning a fresh start with long-term and sustainable objectives in the spirit of Goals 4 and 10 of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
An independent jury selected 11 projects that were admitted to fundraising on the banking group's crowdfunding portal CrowdForLife (www.ca-crowdforlife.it).
The project ended in 2021 with €80,000 raised on the crowdfunding site, in addition to the €100,000 coming from the funds that the CA Group allocated to the initiative in Italy.
Crédit Agricole Italia, in support of the selected projects, matched the amount collected through donations on CrowdForLife, up to the lower of 50% of the defined target and the total amount made available for the initiative.
In September 2021, the implementation of the projects by the associations supported with the funding from the Crédit Agricole Group started, and they will be followed throughout the year, until the results set in the Call for Future are achieved.
