Digital connections
Leasys together with Crédit Agricole Italia and Save The Children for social and digital education.
Combating digital education poverty in the areas that are most disadvantaged or lacking in opportunities, taking up a challenge that is as urgent and topical as ever. Leasys has decided to take part in the initiative promoted by all the Crédit Agricole companies in Italy and Save the Children, who are joining forces and launching "Connessioni Digitali", a long-term project to improve the digital skills of girls and boys in secondary schools throughout Italy.
The project, developed in 100 schools over three years, will involve 6,000 students and 250 teachers in training activities aimed at acquiring key digital skills for the future of young people.
Implemented thanks to the collaboration and scientific supervision of CREMIT (Centre for Research on Media Education, Innovation and Technology of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan), the project will start for the first year in 40 schools in 30 small and large cities in 15 different regions from north to south. This project is in continuity with the initiatives carried out in recent years in cooperation with Crédit Agricole by FCA Bank Group, such as the fundraising for Croce Rossa Italiana during the Covid 19 emergency and the Call for Future project, where funds were raised for 11 non-profit associations for projects on education and reducing inequality.
