Drivalia supports the Sixth World Day of the Poor, celebrated by Pope Francis. The FCA Bank Group's rental and mobility company played a role in the event, established by the Pontiff to raise awareness of poverty among the faithful, by providing the five vans used to distribute 5,000 food parcels to needy families. The World Day of the Poor is one of the Pontiff's most cherished initiatives because of its high humanitarian significance.
The organization thanks Drivalia for the crucial contribution of vehicles for the delivery of the foodstuffs, carried out again this year through the network of parishes in Rome. "I am grateful to Drivalia for making available its vans to ensure that the food parcels created at the behest of the Holy Father would reach all the needy families in His Diocese of Rome in a timely manner," said Monsignor Rino Fisichella.
