The FCA Bank Group added another piece to the project to develop the sharing economy applied to transportation, by launching the service U-Go by Leasys.
Leasys, the Group’s long-term car rental company, makes available to its private customers peer-to-peer car sharing solutions. U-Go has also an innovative twist, as it expands the offering with the vehicles of Winrent, the short-term car rental company recently acquired by Leasys.
U-Go by Leasys is a platform designed, on one side, for Leasys and FCA Bank customers who rented or purchased a car full insurance coverage, and would like to defray the relevant expenses by sharing it when they do not use it (U-Go Players) and, on the other, for individuals who do not own a car or are in other cities and need a vehicle for a few hours or a few days at an affordable price (U-Go Users).
Information is shared on the page, where Players, who register for free, indicate the characteristics of their cars and the period available while Users, who also register for free, will be able to identify the vehicle that best fits their needs.
U-Go by Leasys includes also Winrent’s short-term rental solutions, in addition to the vehicles shared by private users. The Winrent vehicles are available on the platform with dedicated rates, allowing U-Go to meet extensively, and with different vehicles, the demand for mobility in the geographical areas of reference.
The full insurance coverage included in the cars of Leasys and FCA Bank customers guarantees the peace of mind of users that choose U-Go.
Moreover, the platform features an attractive graphic context and an innovative and social spirit, creating a community through direct feedback and review systems that trigger reward and online-reputation mechanisms.
With U-Go by Leasys mobility becomes sustainable, given its affordability, safety and timeliness.
